He is one of the Founding Fathers of Inya Economics. He accomplished his graduate study, MDevS, Master of Development Studies, from the Yangon University of Economics. His academic interests are fiscal federalism, political economy, public policy, and comparative politics. His current research topics are sub-national economics, public finance, and administration. He is currently working as Program Director at Research and Advocacy Program. Last but not least, he is one of the editors of Inya Economic Journal (IEJ). He firmly believes that Myanmar’s sustainable economic development can definitely become only in the context of the democratically accountable political system.
